Making a Mint Julep is fairly simple. All you need is water, honey, a few sprigs of mint, and (optional) a shot of good bourbon. Honey (and bourbon) amounts vary from according to your taste.
I usually dissolve the honey (and bourbon) in some water (about ¼ of the glass) then add in the mint and ice, before filling the glass all the way up with water. I serve it with a long iced teaspoon so it can be stirred working the ice and mint.
This beverage is very good and enjoyed best shared with a good company.
